This site provides free, no-sign-up calculators that help you estimate mortgage payments, compare refinance offers, gauge home affordability, and weigh renting versus buying. Each tool is designed to give a clear first-pass answer you can refine with a lender or advisor.
We built these tools for people researching a home purchase, considering a refinance, or deciding whether renting still makes sense. You should not need a finance background to use them: enter your numbers, review the results, and read the explanations on each page.
Calculations use standard fixed-rate amortization formulas and widely taught underwriting rules of thumb (such as the 28/36 housing and debt guidelines). Every page states assumptions and limitations so you can see what is included—and what is not, such as PMI, HOA dues, or lender-specific overlays.
